SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Bail has been set for the Town of Clay man accused of killing his girlfriend in a drunk driving crash earlier this month.
Mark Richter, 22, was in Onondaga County Court Monday morning for a bail hearing. Police say Richter crashed his car into a tree on Grampian Road in Clay on the morning of May 6th.
Four other people were in the car, including his two-year-old son and the boy's mother, Debra Brown, 23, who later died.
Richter is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter and DWI under Leandra's Law. His bail was set at $20,000.
