CENTRAL NEW YORK -- The days of the traditional chalk board and white board may soon be over. The owners of Distinguished Painting in Camillus are bringing a new idea to the area.

It's called Idea Paint. When used, the special paint can turn any wall or surface into a white board. It was created by a college student from Massachusetts.

The husband and wife team that makes up Distinguished Painting are the only ones in the area certified to use it. And the Baldwinsville Chamber is the first to test it out

"We've only been in our new office just over a week so we haven't had a member use it yet. However, we did have a board meeting since our move and everyone was just so impressed by it," said Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sharon Reiser.

Distinguished Painting Co-Owner Judy NuHavun said, "School's are absolutely loving it. Conference rooms. It just really expands the creative, what shall I say, latitude, people can have when they're using a little whiteboard."
