ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The man accused of fatally shooting an Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy last month has been indicted on several charges, including murder.
Oneida County Court officials say Christian Patterson, 40, was indicted Wednesday on charges of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder, criminal possession of a weapon and second degree harassment.
Patterson is the man police say shot and killed 24-year-old Deputy Kurt Wyman following a standoff at his Knoxboro home June 7.
He's scheduled to appear in court August 3.
