UTICA, N.Y. -- The man accused of murdering Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy Kurt Wyman pleads not guilty to all charges against him.
Deputy Kurt Wyman
Christian Patterson, 40, was arraigned Friday morning on charges of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder, criminal possession of a weapon and second degree harassment.
Patterson is accused of shooting Deputy Wyman with a shotgun during a standoff at his Knoxboro home June 7th.
Patterson's attorney says they've just begun reviewing evidence.
"Right now we're just investigating the cases, a lot of things go into this, the District Attorney is going to be turning over a lot of material that we haven't seen before, so we're just progressing with our investigation and preparing for trial,” said Frank Nebush, defense attorney.
Patterson is due back in Oneida County Court on September 20th.
