OTSEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- The National Weather Service is working to confirm if a tornado did indeed touchdown in Otsego County.

Numerous reports of power outages and downed trees have been called in to the county 911 service. Officials say most of the damage happened in the Burlington Flats and Richfield Springs areas just before 6 p.m. Friday.

No injuries have been reported.
