BURLINGTON FLATS, N.Y. -- Meteorologists with the National Weather Service have finished surveying storm damage in Otsego County following Friday's storm. They say a tornado did in fact touchdown in Burlington Flats.

We initially reported that two tornados were confirmed in the area, but officials say it was actually the same tornado that touched down twice.

The other area where extensive damage was reported was Richfield Springs, but the NWS says they found no sign of a twister there.

No one was hurt in the storm thankfully but it did knock down trees and power lines around 6 p.m. Friday.
