LIBYA -- There's word that the Lockerbie Bomber is comatose and near death in Libya.

CNN is reporting Abdel Basset al-Megrahi is surviving on oxygen and is being taken care of by family members.

Al-Megrahi was convicted of the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, killing 270 people, including 35 students from Syracuse University. He was released from a prison after serving eight years of a life sentence.
