Elmira man indicted for insurance fraud
ELMIRA, N.Y. -- A grand jury indicts an Elmira man on grand larceny and insurance fraud charges.
Officials say David Perry, 47, falsely claimed he had been injured while employed as a corrections officer at the Elmira Correctional Institution.
They say Perry unlawfully obtained more than $100,000 from the New York State Fraud Insurance fund between October 2003 and April 2011.
