ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The U.S. Marshalls New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force says their Fugitive of the Week has ties to the Utica area and want the public to know he's considered extremely dangerous.
The task force says Robert Blainey, 45, is one of the state's top 100 most wanted fugitives. He was arrested in 1984 for raping a girl younger than 11. While on parole for that crime, he was apprehended again for two counts of first degree rape, sexual abuse and unlawful imprisonment.
Authorities say he has friends and family in the Utica/Rome area and Onondaga County. If you see him, do not approach. Call local police or the task force tip line at (315) 690-1834.
