Unlawful imprisonment sentence
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A Syracuse man will serve up to four years in state prison for unlawful imprisonment.
Damion Davis has been sentenced to one year, four months to four years in prison for an incident from October 2010 where investigators say Davis held a woman against her will and used an ice pick to attack her.
In January, Davis is also scheduled to appear in court for an unrelated statutory rape charge. He was arrested in 2009 after he was accused of getting a 15-year-old girl pregnant and told police he gave the child to a group called the Nation of Moors in Brooklyn.
A charge of child abandonment against him was dropped after the child could not be found.
