SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- All of the items were up for sale at the Carrier Dome a few weeks ago at SU's 7th annual Charity Sports Auction. That auction went very well, but there are still some items up for sale. Many of the items have now come down in price and can be purchased through Wednesday on the Charity Sports Auction website. More than one hundred items are still for sale.

The sale is being run by SU's Sports Management club. It helps raise money for a different charity or organization every year. This year, the goal is to raise $20,000 for the Upstate Cancer Center.

Items for sale range from autographed footballs and helmets to gift certificates and books. Officials say the items can make perfect Christmas gifts.

"People who have come literally for seven years have said that they now look forward to it as a way to do all their Christmas shopping for all the sports fans in their family. So, this is an awesome opportunity to get a great deal on in many cases a one of a kind item that could be just the right gift for the right person," said Kate Veley, SU Sport Management Club advisor.

If you want to check out the items for sale, visit www.SUcharitysportsauction.com. If you want to order something, you can call Kate Veley at (315) 443-9816.

All merchandise must be picked up at the Sport Management offices at 808 Nottingham Road in Syracuse in the Drumlins Complex before this Friday, December 23rd.
