SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse Police Department has introduced its new cold case website.
The website will help assist detectives in gathering information about unsolved homicides, which could lead to future arrests. It will also give the public a chance to review old cases and provide information about the case or the people involved in them.
The Syracuse Police Department hopes the new website will help close the door on some of their unsolved cases and make law enforcement in the city more efficient.
"Every family, every loved one is entitled to closure for stuff like this. Be it a missing person or be it a cold case homicide, people are entitled to closure and we work very hard to bring about closure to each of these cases here," said Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler.
To visit the website go to SyracusePolice.org and click on the "cold case" tab.
