SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse University football player is arrested for petit larceny. Syracuse University backup quarterback Terrel Hunt was taken into custody Tuesday after police say he allegedly stole an item from the Hollister store at Carousel Mall.
Police say Hunt took a $44 bottle of Breakline Fragrance from the store, concealing it in a shopping bag before exiting. He was confronted outside the store and escorted to a security office, where police say he was "cooperative and very apologetic."
Hunt was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Syracuse City Court for one charge of petit larceny.
