SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have identified the woman killed in an early morning house fire Friday on the city's north side.

Janet Marks, 64, was found unconscious on the third floor of a multi-family home on Second North Street. The fire started around 5:30 a.m. Friday.

Marks was one of five people home at the time. The other four made it out safely.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
