BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- If you have ever dreamed of owning your own car wash, the City of Binghamton is putting one up for auction to settle an outstanding loan.

Owners of Bubbles Professional Car Care on Court Street in Binghamton have defaulted on a $100,000 loan from the Binghamton Local Development Corporation. The BLDC held a special meeting on Wednesday to authorize the auction of the property, which has been in default since November of 2010.

The auction is scheduled for Thursday at noon with the property open for inspection at 11 a.m.
