SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Crunch dropped their second straight Friday night in a 5-2 home loss to Toronto. Syracuse was never able to dig themselves out of an early 2-0 hole when the Marlies scored two goals in the first eight minutes of the game.

Patrick Maroon and Jean-Francois Jacques scored the Crunch goals. Syracuse is back in action Saturday night against Rochester.
