SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Last weekend we told you about a Syracuse man who was headed to the Super Bowl to sing in the Gospel Celebration.

Well Christian rapper, Joseph "Minister Whisper" Dowdy, lived out that dream.

He posted photos to his Facebook page after yesterday's performance. Dowdy and his Sakia got to sing alongside the likes of CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin and Reverend Run from Run DMC as the NFL Choir performed at the 13th annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration.

They won a contest to get there, submitting a video that was picked by American Family Insurance. The couple also received an all expense paid trip to the big game.
