CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. -- Authorities are searching for a missing Elmira College student. They say Jessica Ronhock, 21, was last seen on January 10th by her roommate. Ronhock left a note for her roommates saying she was going home for a "family emergency," but she never returned home and the family says there was no emergency. She did contact her family on January 12th, but they had no idea she left college.

Ronhock drives a 2000 white Jeep Cherokee, and is believed to be traveling alone. Authorities confirm that Ronhock passed through Florida, where she stayed at a campground. Credit card records also placed her in Texas and Arizona.

Ronhock is a member of the ROTC and may be making contact with other members in her travels.

Anyone with information about Ronhock's whereabouts is asked to call Elmira Police at (607) 737-5610
