Law enforcement authorities from all over the country are working together to locate a missing Elmira College student. Twenty-one-year-old Jessica Ronhock was last seen on January 10th by her roommate. Our Lara Greenberg tells us what the school and local authorities are doing to try to find her.

ELMIRA, N.Y. -- It's been almost a month since anyone has seen Jessica Ronhock. On January 10th, she told her roommate at Elmira College that she was leaving for a family emergency.

But she never showed up at her Massachusetts home. And no one has seen her since.

"There was no signs that she had spoken to anybody about planning this trip," said Elmira Police Sgt. Scott Packard.

Sergeant Scott Packard of the Elmira Police Department has been investigating the case. The EPD tracked her credit card and phone in Florida, Texas, and Arizona, but the last time they saw activity was January 18th.

Elmira Police are now working with authorities from each siting nationwide to find Ronhock.

"I think that the lack of credit card activity, lack of communication on her part kind of raises it to that next level," said Sgt. Packard.

Elmira College officials have notified students of the investigation. Dean Julianne Baumann said it's taken a toll on them and Jessica's family.

"We're a small enough place that this is a member of our community. And when something happens to one of our own, it just doesn't go unnoticed," said Julianne Baumann, the Dean of Student Life at Elmira College.

Students have made Facebook pages to find her. So has Ronhock's family, who last communicated with her when they received one of her journals in the mail, explaining why she left.

Ronhock's mother is now in Arizona trying to piece together her daughter's puzzling disappearance. But authorities said there are no solid leads at this time.
