SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The investigation continues today after a school bus with students on board was hit by gunfire in Syracuse. Police said the incident happened near the 800 and 900 blocks of South Avenue around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses said they saw people in a tan or gold sedan and white minivan shooting at each other.

Investigators said the bus filled with 15 students, and two other cars were hit by gunfire. No injuries were reported.
