ITHACA, N.Y. - The No. 3 Cornell women's ice hockey team used a big third period to put No. 10 Mercyhurst away in a 5-1 victory Wednesday night. The Big Red broke a 1-1 tie in the third with four goals in the final frame.

Five different skaters scored goals for Cornell, as they win the season series 2-1 over the Lakers.
