OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Oswego Harborfest officials have named a new interim director to run the 25th year of the festival, while the search continues for a permanent replacement to fill the role.

Steve Fulton will be filling that role for this year's Harborfest. He is no stranger to running the festival, Fulton spent four years as the Executive Director back in the mid-'90s.

Former Harborfest Executive Director, Tom Van Schaack, was fired back in September after three years in the position.

Harborfest officials said they want to take the festival in a new direction for its 25th year, but have not released specific details about their plans.
