CICERO, N.Y. - The South Jefferson girls basketball team stayed unbeaten and moved into the sectional final with a 62-57 win in Cicero Wednesday night.
The Class B-1 semifinal pitted the second-seeded Spartans (20-0) against third-seed Utica Notre Dame in a matchup of two teams with one loss between them.
The Jugglers (18-2) took a two-point lead late in the third quarter but could not hold on for the victory.
Tierney Buckley had 14 points for Notre Dame while Austin Stevens and Amanda Roberts each had 17 points for South Jeff, which moves onto the B-1 final next Tuesday.
