CAYUGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Auburn police have ruled a deadly weekend fire accidental. The fire at a house on Greenview Circle was called in just after 11 p.m. Saturday.

When fire crews arrived, they found a woman and a toddler unconscious inside the home. Rachel Curione, 38, and Averyana Dale, 2, were taken to Auburn Community Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Investigators said the fire was small, but caused a significant amount of smoke.
