PITTSBURGH, PA. -- It is game day in Pittsburgh as the Syracuse Orange are a few hours away from playing their second game in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
Today, 'Cuse gets the Kansas State Wildcats and Orange fans are hopeful their team will make a little better of a showing than they did Thursday.
The Orange struggled to find their rhythm against UNC Asheville, but fans we spoke to were just happy SU pulled it out. Fans said it likely won't get any easier today but they said they're looking forward to some better play.
Although, the majority of fans in Pittsburgh for Thursday’s game were anti-Orange, there are still plenty of fans here in Pittsburgh rooting for the Cuse, and they're confident heading into Saturday’s game.
So again, according to fans, SU will have to play a better game this time around if they want to stay alive in this tournament.
The Orange and Kansas State will tip off at 12:15 p.m. at the Consol Energy Center.
