ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- It has been a week since the search started for Tupper Lake teenager Colin Gillis. The 18-year-old wandered away from a party in town late last Saturday and was last seen walking on Route 3 early the next morning.

State Police and DEC, as well as hundreds of volunteers, searched for Gillis last week. This week, volunteers are no longer being used.

On Monday, Forest Rangers continued searching the waters and shorelines in kayaks, and the Tupper Lake Dive Team is searching Piercefield Flow. The Gillis family continues to search the area on foot on their own.

Authorities said they have followed multiple leads but have come up short. They said they will continue searching for Gillis until he is found.
