VESTAL,NY-- The Corning girls led by just 3 at half time but outscored Vestal 10-3 in the second half to beat Vestal 15-6.

Carly Gates scored in the first half for the Bears to bring the home team to within one at 3-2.

But Corning scored twice more before half to open up a three goal lead.

Mallory Frysinger had 5 goals to lead the way for the Hawks.
