ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Onondaga County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the construction worker who died at a construction site next to Onondaga Lake Tuesday morning.

Christopher Johnson, 46, of Leroy, was driving a bulldozer for Parsons Engineering at the site off of 690 west, when it went into the lake. Officials believe Johnson suffered from some sort of medical emergency.

Site workers were able to pull Johnson to shore and he was taken to Upstate Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
