OTSEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A string of fires in Oneonta is under investigation. Police said they believe all were intentionally set.

Officials responded to the first of five fires Friday afternoon on Eighth Street. That was followed by several other calls to homes, a business and a vacant building, all in the early morning hours yesterday.

Authorities are considering the fires suspicious. All tips can be called in to Oneonta Police at (607) 432-1111.
