Man charged in recent shooting

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man has been charged in connection with a recent shooting at a home on Van Rensselaer Street. Police said Daquan Hall, 20, attempted to rob two people in an apartment at the home back on April 9th.

They said Hall shot Josh Hinton and Jacquelin Palmer during the robbery. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A second suspect has not yet been identified.

Hall is charged with second-degree assault, first-degree robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon.
