SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Chiefs managed only five hits on Wednesday while Pawtucket scored five runs in the top of the 11th inning to win 6-1 at Alliance Bank Stadium.

Syracuse (3-10) will try to avoid a four-game sweep in the series finale starting at noon on Thursday.

As the team continues to struggle, so does top prospect Bryce Harper. The phenom went hitless in five at-bats, lowering his average to .222.
