SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse woman charged with failing to provide food and medical care for Princess the pit bull was sentenced Thursday.

Wendy Collins got time served and three years probation.

Princess was removed from Collins' Oak Street home. The SPCA said the dog was malnourished and weighed just 25 pounds, half what she should have weighed.

As part of the probation, Collins' attorney says she cannot own a pet.
