SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch are set for their first Calder Cup playoff run in four years hosting the St. John's Icecaps in games one and two of their first-round best-of-five series this Friday and Saturday night.
The 7th-seeded Crunch won three of four meetings against the 2nd-seeded Icecaps this season including two wins at the Onondaga War Memorial to spark their turnaround in March.
Both games will be televised live on TWCS before the series shifts to Newfoundland for games 3, 4, and 5 if necessary.
