SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have ruled last weekend's suspicious death a homicide.

Carnell Marshall, 27, was found dead in a vacant lot behind the Mavis Discount Tire store on South Salina Street last Saturday morning. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of death, but have ruled it a homicide.

Anyone with information on Marshall or who may have seen a fight in the area between Thursday and Saturday is asked to call Syracuse Police at (315) 442-5222.
