SCHUYLER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A special tip line and email address have been set up to help with the investigation into a recent death in Schuyler County.

Authorities were called to a home on Pearl Street in the town of Dix Thursday night. They were called by the father of Daniel Bennett, 31, who was woken up by the sound of a gunshot and found his son dead.

At this point, investigators are asking anyone who may have seen a vehicle parked off of either Pearl Street or Catlin Hill Road between 10 p.m. and midnight Thursday to contact authorities.
