NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- A Union-Endicott grad successfully defends his UFC title.

Jon "Bones" Jones took on Niagara Falls native Rashad Evans for the light-heavyweight championship in Atlanta last night.

As the youngest UFC Champion, Jones was looking to defend his title while Evans was hoping to win it back. Both fighters were nearly unbeaten coming into last night's fight.

In the end, Jones came out on top after five rounds, winning in a unanimous decision.
