Swan eggs destroyed in Manlius

MANLIUS, N.Y. -- It's a crime that has caught the attention of Manlius Police. Several swan eggs were destroyed at the Swan Pond in the village sometime between Saturday and Sunday morning.

According to investigators, someone removed the eggs from a nesting area at the pond. The damaged eggs were found nearby at the corner of Fayette and East Seneca Streets.

Police are now looking for whoever's responsible and they're asking anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (315) 682-2212. You can also leave information on the department’s confidential tip line at (315) 682-TMPD.
