Man arrested after stabbing, victim in fair condition

CORTLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The victim in a stabbing in Cortlandville is now in fair condition.

State Police were called to the Penguin Trailer Park, off State Route 13, late Saturday night. Two men had reportedly gotten into a fight and one was stabbed in the chest. Investigators said the victim, Larry Eaton, 31, suffered internal injuries and had to be taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse for treatment.

Police arrested Tommy Greene Junior, 27, Sunday, charging him with first degree assault. Greene was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandville Court and is being held at the county jail.

State Police say their investigation is continuing.
