Man in critical condition following Syracuse shooting

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A man is in critical condition after being shot in Syracuse overnight. Police were called to the 1600 block of West Onondaga Street just before midnight.

When police arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital where police say he is in extremely critical condition.

Witnesses told police they saw an older model four door vehicle speed away after the shooting.
