ITHACA, N.Y. -- The hopes of thousands of college girls may be dashed with the news that Justin Bieber won't be coming to Cornell this fall.

The internet went wild with rumors after a website called "Soycberty" claimed Bieber mentioned news of his admission in an exclusive interview. However, Bieber's publicist says the interview never happened.

Cornell representatives also confirmed the 18-year-old pop star will not be enrolled at the Ivy League university.
