JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- Jefferson County legislators continue to discuss how to move forward in light of the $50 million lawsuit filed against the Sheriff's Office. They met in executive session Tuesday night.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy Krystal Rice alleges that topless photos of her were misused in an online sexual predator investigation. Those photos are now missing, and Rice says she's endured harassment and emotional distress.

Legislators have been discussing the need for an internal investigation of the Sheriff's Office with the County Attorney.

Lawmakers won't say what was discussed during Tuesday's closed door session. Sheriff John Burns says he is open to the investigation.
