WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- New flavors as well as many long-time favorites filled the State Office Building in Watertown for the 10th annual Taste of the Town.
People were able to sample plenty of delicious foods and desserts from more than 40 local restaurants Saturday.
The event helps raises about $22,000 annually to help community members in need through the Victim's Assistance Center.
"We help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and any other type of crime and violence in the county, so it enables us to provide all of those services to them. It's essential to us helping people," said Elaina Marra, Victim’s Assistance Center Executive Director.
Restaurants compete for Best Taste of the Town, Best Taste of the Town - Second Place and Best Presentation of the Town. A Wooden Spoon Award goes to the crowd's favorite restaurant as well.
