Man accused of shooting neighbor's horses
CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A New Berlin man is charged in the death of six horses.
State Police said Lauren McMaster, 75, shot six horses that belonged to a neighbor. The horses were found dead on property adjacent to Hunts Pond Road.
McMaster is charged with six counts of Cruelty to Animals and six counts of criminal mischief in the second degree.
