ABBOTTABAD, PAKISTAN -- Today marks the anniversary of the death of Al Qaeda head Osama bin Laden. The terrorist leader was killed a year ago in his compound during a U.S. led operation in Pakistan.

Now, the U.S. Army's Combating Terrorism Center at West Point is posting some of bin Laden's last writings online later this week. Navy SEALs gathered the documents when they raided the compound last year.

Included in the collection is a correspondence between bin Laden and his affiliates, and a diary handwritten by bin Laden.

Intelligence officials say the documents show bin Laden was helping to plot attacks on American targets.

There are some security concerns on the anniversary. Al-Qaeda is still very active in planning attacks against Americans at home and abroad. The U.S. has issued a security warning to Americans in Pakistan.
