OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A missing Canastota woman has been found safe. The Oswego County Sheriff's office reports that Cassandra "Sandy" Phillips, 36, was spotted walking in the rain along County Route 28 in the town of Richland Tuesday morning.
A passing motorist stopped to assist her, and then contacted police.
Phillips was reported missing on Monday after her car was found behind Fulton Boiler Works in the Village of Pulaski. At the time, police said she hadn't been seen or heard from for more than a week.
The Sheriff's office said she is in good health, and was taken to Oswego Hospital for an assessment.
