ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The World Fishing Network is once again searching for the Ultimate Fishing Town, and Waddington is once again determined to take home the prize.

Last year, the North Country town came in second after Roscoe took the lead and won the nationwide contest by 1,400 votes.

The top town wins $25,000 towards fishing-related causes and will be featured on the World Fishing Network. So far, Waddington is in the lead with over 1,000 votes.

Voting is open now at worldfishingnetwork.com. You can vote for your favorite fishing town until May 31st.
