Excellus to repay claim overcharges
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Excellus BlueCross BlueShield will repay almost $2.5 million to Onondaga County. County officials say an audit revealed overcharges for out-of-network claims between 2006 and 2011.
Excellus has agreed to repay the county for all of the overcharges. Officials say the problems which led to this error have been identified and fixed.
