A unique fundraiser involving local businesses and celebrities will take center stage tonight at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. The fourth annual Bella Casa Celebrity Fashion show helps raise money for operational costs at the Ronald McDonald House of Central New York. Our Brad Vivacqua has more on the fundraiser.

ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. – There are already more than 600 people expected at the Holiday Inn tonight in what should be another fun-filled evening. This is a very important fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House of Central New York, and for the past three years, it’s had a lot of success.

The event includes more than 30 vendors with a variety of items for sale including jewelry, clothing, and baked goods. People who come within the first few hours are encouraged to browse and then check out the main attraction of the night.

Celebrities ranging from local CEOs to recognizable sports names will hit the runway to model clothing from Greater Syracuse area businesses.

Money raised will specifically pay for operational costs and essential supplies for the house, which helps families of kids being treated at local hospitals.

"It's very important that on a day to day basis we're able to fund our mission and provide a home away from home for these guest families who travel to us, to receive the best in medical care at our hospitals. And, then find respite here at the Ronald McDonald House," said Beth Trunfio, CNY Ronald McDonald House Executive Dir.

Tickets for tonight's event are still available. The event will get started at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeurves and raffles and then the fashion show will get underway at 8 p.m.
