SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police have identified the woman who allegedly stabbed her live-in boyfriend Wednesday afternoon at their apartment on Sunset Avenue.

According to investigators, Lisa Brunelli, 50, stabbed Joe Clark, 48, in the chest several times during an argument. Clark was taken to Upstate University Hospital with serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Brunelli was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree assault.

Police said Clark and Brunelli were babysitting their five-year-old grandchild at the time of the stabbing. The child wasn't hurt during the incident and is being cared for by other family members.
