ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Chestnut Hill Elementary in Liverpool is working to raise money to support abused children. The school has raised more than $400 to participate in the Pinwheel for Prevention Campaign put on by the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center.
CHE raised the money through donations and purchases from their student-run Snack Shack.
The school planted hundreds of pinwheels to support McMahon/Ryan and to recognize National Child Abuse Awareness Month, which was in April.
